Apologies to anyone after a signed copy of 'Dragon of the Second Moon' from my website but the first edition is now completely sold out. If you are after a hard copy of my book the last copies will be available at three upcoming signings in Brisbane and Sydney "detailed below" or there are very limited copies at the online stores; Amazon, Booktopia & Fishpond (see links page for details). Fantasy becomes reality for Brisbane Author, Chris Tamblyn

First-time author from Brisbane, Australia, Chris Tamblyn has this week released his first novel, “Dragon of the Second Moon”. 

The book, published by Sid Harta and distributed nationally and internationally by Denis Jones & Associates has been written for the large and dynamic young-adult fantasy readership that has emerged globally since the worldwide phenomenon of the Harry Potter series. 

The book has been nominated for the Aurealis Awards, in the category of Best Fantasy Novel in 2009. 

“My children grew up with Harry Potter, and are now emerging as young-adult fantasy readers.  After telling them fantasy stories for years, they finally coerced me into putting pen to paper, bringing to life The Dragon of the Second Moon,” said Chris Tamblyn.  “I am very proud if this, my first book, and look forward to continuing the adventures of Zanderhal in future books”. 

Chris, an Australian writer, from suburban Brisbane, has lovingly crafted his book for more than 18 months whilst working full time as a senior aircraft engineer with Virgin Blue.
